How do I add a product? What's the difference between SKU and Name?
- Open Inventory → Products → + New Product.
- Name = what cashiers see on the tile (e.g. "Caffè Latte Grande"). Customer-facing.
- SKU = a short stock code (e.g. "LAT-G") cashiers can type or scan to ring up the product fast. Internal-facing. Skip if you don't use barcodes/SKUs.
- Pick a category. Set the price.
- Tap Save. Product is immediately ringable at POS.
You'll see
Product appears in /inventory/products and in the POS grid.
