Can a cashier see the same things I see? (No — role-based access)
- Admin (you) can access everything: Dashboard, Sales, Inventory, Customers, Suppliers, Reports, Settings.
- Cashier can access /sell only. They can ring sales, open/close their shift, look up customers, apply discounts. They cannot see total sales, reports, settings, or other cashiers' shifts.
- Cashiers cannot Void or Refund — only admins can. This is intentional: the admin is the audit gate.
- You can promote a cashier to admin in Settings → Users → edit the user → change role. Use sparingly.

Signing in as a cashier loads /sell directly and hides admin nav.
