How do I record wastage or a spill?
- Inventory → Adjustments → + New Adjustment.
- Pick the ingredient. Enter the delta (negative for wastage, e.g. -250 for 250ml of spilled milk).
- Pick a reason from the chips: Wastage, Spillage, Damage, Theft, Correction, etc.
- Add notes if needed. Submit.
You'll see
Stock drops by the amount. The adjustment lands on the audit log under the reason category — useful for monthly wastage reports.
