What's the difference between Products and Ingredients?
- Product = what the customer buys. "Latte 12oz." Has a price, a photo, a category, a tile on the POS grid.
- Ingredient = what you stock in the back. "Espresso beans 1kg bag." Has current stock, reorder level, unit cost. Never appears at POS.
- Recipes connect the two. A Latte 12oz recipe says "use 18g of espresso beans + 240ml of whole milk per cup."
- When you sell the product, the recipe deducts from the ingredients automatically.
