How do I create a purchase order? Does it auto-fill my low-stock items?
- Purchases → + New PO.
- Pick a supplier. Pre-fill any low-stock items by clicking "Add low-stock items" or open from the dashboard's Needs Restock alert (it pre-fills automatically).
- Add line items: ingredient, quantity, unit cost. Total updates live.
- Set expected delivery date. Save as Draft (editable) or Submit (locks).
You'll see
PO appears in Purchases list with status Draft or Pending.
