How do I create my product categories (Espresso, Pastries, etc.)?
Before adding products. Categories are the chip rail at the top of the POS.
- Open Inventory → Categories.
- Tap + New Category.
- Type a name (e.g. "Espresso"). Pick a display color (used as a small dot next to products in lists).
- Set display order (1 = leftmost in POS chip rail).
- Tap Save.
You'll see
Category appears in the list. POS chip rail updates on next /sell page load.
